Job Description
Shape the future of young learners in a vibrant setting as a contract educator specializing in either general education or ESL instruction. Multiple openings are available for passionate teachers eager to make a difference with students in intermediate grades or through dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) support. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity set for the academic year from August 17 through May 27, 2027.
Available positions include:
- Two 5th Grade Dual Language Math/Science roles
- One 5th Grade Dual Language Social Studies/English Language Arts role
- One 6th Grade Dual Language Math/Science role
- Dedicated K-2 ESL teaching responsibilities, particularly focused on PreK learners
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related area
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate subject endorsements
- Demonstrated experience and insight into curriculum planning, instructional design, and classroom management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Develop and deliver robust, engaging lessons tailored to your assigned grade and subject area
- Use differentiated instruction strategies to meet the needs of bilingual and diverse learners
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture encouraging both academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to monitor and support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and communicate student achievement to parents and guardians
