Soliant has partnered with an educational community in Palo Alto, CA, and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologistfor a middle school position..

Requirements:

  • ASHA-Certified candidates strongly preferred
  • Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Speech Language Pathology credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • Prior schools experience strongly preferred

Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly W2 pay of $73 to $82/hr, dependent on experience
  • Health, vision and dental insurance
  • Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
  • Employer-matched 401(k)

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting,clinicians will:

  • Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
  • Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
  • Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
  • Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
  • Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
