School Speech Language Pathologist - Leander, TX

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Leander and Austin, TX. You’ll partner with a team of educators and specialists in a dynamic school setting, providing speech services, interventions, and collaborating on student success. Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license (CCC preferred)
• Strong experience managing elementary caseloads, ideally in school settings
• Proficiency writing Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPS) and developing measurable goals
• Comfortable participating in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings and collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Capable of conducting speech-only evaluations and preparing reports, with key deadlines in October
• Demonstrated competence with push-in services, including support for life skills and G3 students
• Excellent observation, documentation, and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and intervention to approximately 50 elementary students
• Provide targeted push-in support for life skills and third-grade classrooms
• Write PLAAFPS and develop individualized, goal-oriented plans
• Attend and contribute to MTSS meetings, offering insights and recommendations
• Complete timely speech-only evaluations during your assignment
• Observe students as needed, gathering data to guide service decisions and progress monitoring
