Job Description

This contract-based opportunity is located near Garland, TX, and offers the chance to make a significant impact during two maternity leave coverage periods. You’ll be working onsite, splitting your time between a Junior High, an Elementary, and later a High School, helping students reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP, CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable and adaptable working with a diverse caseload across different grade levels
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly integrate into new environments and work independently
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and reporting as required by the school
- Offer in-class support and consultation as needed
- Serve both Junior High and Elementary populations from the beginning of school through mid-October, then transition to High School coverage from late September to mid-November
