Job Description
Step into a vital support role for students across a diverse educational community by providing expert psychological services on a full-time, contract basis for the 2024-2025 academic year. This opportunity allows you to serve as a Regional Psychologist, delivering your expertise to students, staff, and families, both onsite and potentially through virtual settings, ensuring access and equity in educational support.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Master's degree in Psychology required
- Active Arizona School Psychologist credentials and current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Demonstrated experience working with adolescent populations in educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, consultation, and crisis response skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify the needs of students and recommend appropriate interventions
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and facilitate referrals to community-based resources when needed
- Deliver professional development and consultation to school staff around mental health, behavior management, and best practices
- Maintain clear, compliant documentation in accordance with district and state standards
