Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Valid SLPA license, in good standing
  • Experience in a school setting or working with school-aged children is highly desired
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
  • Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and enthusiasm for student success
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage a small caseload independently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out therapy sessions individually or in small groups, following treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP
  • Support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collect and record student progress data
  • Assist in preparing session materials and activities
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate observations to the SLP and education team
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards
