Job Description
Enhance student success and communication as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time, contract role offers the opportunity to provide specialized services to students across a supportive school community from August through the end of the school year, working 37.5 hours weekly.
Ideal background and qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles is a plus
- Familiarity with IEPs and educational documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering communication skills and academic progress in students
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records and accurate documentation within school timelines
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students
- Offer consultative support and training to educators and guardians as needed
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy interventions as required
