This full-time, contract role offers the opportunity to provide specialized services to students across a supportive school community from August through the end of the school year, working 37.5 hours weekly.

Ideal background and qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Previous experience in school-based SLP roles is a plus
  • Familiarity with IEPs and educational documentation
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering communication skills and academic progress in students

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough records and accurate documentation within school timelines
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students
  • Offer consultative support and training to educators and guardians as needed
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy interventions as required
