Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services in a full-time, contract position. This opportunity focuses on supporting children and young adults with developmental disabilities and autism within a nonprofit setting dedicated to fostering individual progress. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality therapy in a supportive, school-based environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices in supporting students with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to maximize student progress
  • Track and document student performance, maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Provide resources, training, and support to school staff and families as needed
