Job Description
Step into a dynamic educational environment as an onsite speech-language pathologist working with students from preschool through middle school. This contract position runs from August 4 to June 4, offering you the chance to make a difference in the lives of children ages 3 to 8th grade. You'll collaborate closely with dedicated staff within a supportive setting and enjoy a consistent weekday schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week, with a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch).
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, valid SLP credential required for school-based practice
- Experience working with children ages 3 through 8th grade preferred
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 55 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal guidelines
