Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist in Charge to oversee pharmacy operations with a potential pathway to a permanent role. The position involves essential leadership responsibilities while performing the standard duties of a pharmacist. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a consistent weekday work routine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and safety information
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with clinic staff regarding medication-related inquiries and concerns

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Alabama Pharmacist license
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience within a pharmacy setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and standards
  • Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and interdisciplinary coordination

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
