Step into an enriching role supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Manitowoc, WI. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact, covering a leave from late September to early January—with the possibility of extension. You'll work onsite, closely guiding a manageable caseload of 46 students at one elementary building, providing essential speech and language services that set the foundation for lifelong learning.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates welcome
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience is valued, but support is available for new graduates
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess communication needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy, both individual and group, within the school setting
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions when necessary
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and related school activities
