This contract opportunity offers flexibility, with a focus on servicing 1-2 classrooms within the Oroville/Paradise area. Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Comfortable supervising SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants)
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Willingness to work part-time, 2 days per week in person
  • Open to both onsite and virtual candidates
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across 1-2 classrooms
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement effective interventions
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and school personnel to support student progress
  • Supervise SLPA(es) as part of the caseload as needed
  • Maintain documentation and report on student outcomes in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
