Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative abilities
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and special education processes
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as a key team member
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Offer crisis intervention and support as necessary
- Contribute to data collection and documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
