Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Oregon
Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric services within a K-5 educational setting located in Portland, OR. This on-site role requires a commitment of five days a week throughout the 2026-2027 school year, offering an opportunity to work directly with young learners in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-5.
- Utilize telepractice methods as needed to complement in-person therapy.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support students' communication needs.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to maximize student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
- Strong skills in both in-person and telespeech therapy modalities.
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and educational regulations.
- Ability to work independently without the assistance of SLPA or clinical fellows.
Additional Information:
- Position duration: 2026-2027 school year.
- Leave period from August 24 through December 7.
- Full-time schedule with a focus on direct, on-site student interaction.
