School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Buffalo, Minnesota

Step into a dynamic educational environment and play a vital role in supporting student communication and academic success. This contract opportunity offers the chance to serve a diverse caseload of elementary and some secondary students, working collaboratively with educators and families to make a meaningful impact.

Enjoy a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) from late August through early June, supporting approximately 40-50 students. Responsibilities include conducting speech and language therapy sessions, administering evaluations, and participating in IEP meetings. You’ll draw on your expertise to design and implement individualized treatment plans, track student progress, and ensure that each student achieves their communication goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota SLP license (please provide documentation upon application)
• ASHA CCC certification required
• Previous experience in school-based and pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in SLP best practices, including therapy, assessments, and case management
• Ability to work effectively with students across elementary and secondary grade levels
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to on-site work (no virtual option at this time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to identified students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility and program needs
• Develop and implement targeted service plans
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress records
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
