Job Description

This role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives on making a difference in elementary students’ lives, working primarily with grades 2-3. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with a flexible weekly schedule of 18-21 hours spread over 3-5 days and a manageable caseload of 30-50 students across 2-3 school sites.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Indiana licensure for school-based Speech-Language Pathology required
- Experience with school-aged populations, particularly grades 2-3, is desirable
- Comfort working with both lower and upper-grade students a plus
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct student evaluations and reevaluations as needed
- Serve as Teacher of Record (TOR) or Teacher of Service (TOS) for students on caseload
- Lead IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
