Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology services in an engaging educational environment for the 2026–2027 school year. This position serves a caseload of 40-55 students in an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) setting, working directly onsite to make a real difference in students’ daily lives. With three positions available, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team supporting communication needs and student growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in schools, particularly with students with autism or in specialized ASD classrooms, preferred
- Deep understanding of best practices in speech-language pathology assessment and treatment planning
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners in a school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive SLP services in line with IEP goals for an assigned caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success and inclusion
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and social communication skills
- Document progress, provide regular updates, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ communication needs within the educational environment
