Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting by supporting students’ physical growth and independence throughout the academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated physical therapist interested in working with a diverse K-12 population. The position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, providing services districtwide for one full FTE.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license for the state (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting (K-12 preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, service providers, and families
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to in-person service delivery for the entirety of the school year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions for students across multiple schools, supporting IEP goals and access to education
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to adapt activities for student participation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
  • Provide consultative services to educators and families to promote student well-being and inclusion
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and participate in the development of student plans

This is a full-time engagement (32-37.5 hours per week) during the standard school calendar, offering the rewarding opportunity to foster growth and development for students districtwide.
