This full-time, contract role spans August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference across a diverse K-12 caseload. Located near vibrant West Hartford, CT, you’ll work on-site with students, collaborating with educators and families to promote physical well-being and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Connecticut (or eligibility).
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
  • Comfort working across all grade levels (K-12) and adapting interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Commitment to supporting students’ functional and academic goals in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • In-person availability throughout the school year; remote applications cannot be considered for this role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to help students achieve educational goals.
  • Maintain detailed progress records and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to maximize student outcomes.
  • Provide consultative support and resources for staff regarding physical development and classroom accommodations.
  • Serve as a key resource across the district, traveling between schools as needed.

This full-time schedule provides 32-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a consistent caseload and supportive school community. Additional details about district-specific duties and structures will be shared as available.
