Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) role
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of CVOR procedures and protocols
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care during cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and support staff
- Prepare and maintain the CVOR for both scheduled and emergency surgeries
- Monitor patients’ surgical and recovery progress, responding to changes rapidly
- Advocate for patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process
- Participate in ongoing education and process improvements within the department

$2,844 - $3,009/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
