Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license/certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Previous school-based SLP experience working with a K-12 population is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students identified with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to design and deliver therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary team discussions, and advocate for students’ needs
  • Monitor and document student progress, making recommendations for continued support as needed
