Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain required credentials for working in school-based settings
  • Previous experience working with K-12 population is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to suit individual student needs across a broad age and ability range

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to K-12 students in alignment with district and state guidelines
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable, student-centered goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate optimal student outcomes
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting communication skills and language development
  • Consult with classroom teachers to provide strategies and interventions that support students in inclusive settings
