Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a welcoming educational environment near Aurora, CO. This onsite role begins August 18, 2026, and continues through June 3, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 34 hours per week—Tuesday through Friday, allowing for a long weekend every week. You will make a direct impact across two settings: three days serving an elementary school and one day at a high school, working alongside dedicated staff to foster student growth and independence.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license (OT licensure required)
- Previous experience as an OT in a school environment ideal
- Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to manage and adapt to varied caseloads between elementary and high school settings
- Commitment to collaborative, student-focused therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions onsite
- Track progress and maintain detailed, organized documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
