What We Seek:

• Active Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with the appropriate visual impairment endorsement
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in a school-based environment
• Proven ability to mentor, coach, and train staff
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Completion of required fingerprinting prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct vision-related services to a diverse student population
• Collaborate with families, educators, and related service providers
• Facilitate access to resources, assistive technology, and individualized learning strategies
• Serve as a leader within the Vision Related Services Department, guiding best practices and supporting professional growth
• Travel between multiple schools within the district as part of an itinerant team
