Occupational Therapist

Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Illinois
Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
Clinical skills supporting high school-aged students with complex needs (grades 9-12)
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student goals
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative OT services for a caseload of approximately 18 high school students
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student participation in school activities and functional skills
Support students’ fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills for greater independence within the educational environment
This role offers a competitive rate starting at $43 per hour, with increases commensurate with experience.
