As an SLP in this supportive environment, you’ll split your time between two elementary buildings—one on Mondays and Wednesdays, the other on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your day will run from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a predictable routine with no weekend hours. This contract position spans from early October through January, making it ideal for professionals who thrive on focused assignments.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Previous school experience or comfort adapting to an educational setting
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Passion for working with diverse elementary-age learners
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to a caseload of 50-60 elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings related to student IEPs and team discussions
