As a highly qualified Paraprofessional, you will have the chance to select your preferred school site, with multiple vacancies across locations such as Adams, Brookside, Hoover, Johnsville, Lincoln, McKinley, Oxbow Creek, Ramsey, Sunrise, University Avenue, and Wilson Elementary. Each school offers a unique team and culture, giving you the flexibility to find the best fit for your strengths and interests.
Requirements:
- Must be highly qualified by one of the following:
- Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para or Para Educator Exam
- Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
- Resume and qualifying documents must be submitted to be considered
- Ability and willingness to assist with student toileting as part of the support staff team
- Strong communication, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
- Commitment to a 32.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction and individual student needs under teacher direction
- Facilitate activities promoting student growth and learning
- Provide supervision during transitions, meals, and recess
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all students
- Assist with personal care tasks as needed
