School Speech Language Pathologist - Sunnyvale, California

Preferred candidates hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and have a strong foundation in both assessment and intervention across K-12 populations. You'll have the opportunity to develop tailored speech and language therapy plans that empower students, working closely with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility in speech-language pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a dedicated caseload
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for IEPs and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' communication goals
• Foster an encouraging, supportive environment for diverse learners
