Speech Language Pathologist in Ingleside, TX

Discover a rewarding opportunity to make an impact in the Southeast Texas Coast region as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract position offers a blend of leadership and hands-on service, as you’ll take primary responsibility for supervising district SLPAs while carrying out essential SLP duties. The district is seeking professionals ready to enrich the school community, with a strong preference for on-site providers. However, highly qualified virtual candidates will also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Possess an active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Ability to supervise and clinically support SLPAs within a school district setting
• Proficiency with the Frontline/E-Sped platform is highly desirable
• Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Must complete or already have Texas fingerprint/background checks per credentialing requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Availability for full-time (40 hours/week), starting August 3, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027
• Candidates with virtual-only experience will be considered, but on-site experience greatly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide district SLP Assistants (SLPAs) to ensure quality service delivery
• Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress
• Maintain documentation and reports in the Frontline/E-Sped system
• Participate in relevant meetings and professional development as required by the district

District interviews will take place after August 3, 2026. The specific number of school sites and caseload details will be clarified during the placement process. Note that former employees are currently not eligible for consideration.
