Make a difference every day by supporting students as a speech-language pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract role spans the full academic year with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, offering an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and positively impact young learners.

Your initial focus will be providing essential coverage at an elementary campus during a maternity leave through Thanksgiving break. Afterward, you'll have the chance to support various buildings where short-term leaves arise within the district, or provide critical compensatory services for students as needs are identified.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Minnesota School SLP License
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students K-5
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create data-driven intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
  • Provide detailed documentation and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Flexibly adapt to changing assignments as district needs evolve
