Pharmacist in Greensboro, NC

Support a pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC as an Infusion Pharmacist on a contract basis, working 3-5 days per week with potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. This role requires expertise in home infusion and sterile compounding within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders specifically for infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Ensure strict compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards for sterile compounding and hazardous drugs
• Provide clinical support and drug information to healthcare staff and patients as needed
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and uphold patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies

Qualifications:

• Active and valid North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
• Strong sterile compounding skills with familiarity in USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Ability to work independently with adaptability to changing situations and priorities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support multidisciplinary collaboration

Schedule:
