Job Description
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent ORT credentials
- Previous experience working in an operating room environment, assisting with surgical procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of sterile techniques, instrument handling, and surgical protocols
- Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs proactively during procedures
- Strong commitment to patient safety, infection control, and procedural accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Team-oriented, with effective communication skills for collaboration with nurses, surgeons, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure all instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready and in optimal condition for each case
- Assist surgeons and other surgical staff by passing instruments and supplies as needed
- Properly count sponges, needles, and instruments, maintaining accurate records throughout procedures
- Support patient positioning, draping, and transfer according to established protocols
- Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines within the operating room
- Contribute to the post-procedure clean-up and preparation for successive cases

$1,688 - $1,786/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
