This role involves working with approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily, focusing on accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment. Shift Availability:

• Two pharmacists for 2nd shift: 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• One pharmacist for 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions, including final verification of medications.
• Verify that the correct medication is in the bottle or box, ensuring accuracy.
• Confirm directions and prescription information align precisely with hard copy documentation.
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system; note that no automation is employed.
• Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude, contributing to team efficiency and quality control.
• No on-call duties required.
