Qualifications:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification required
• Previous experience with middle or high school-aged students is preferred
• Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school settings
• Skilled in individualized education program (IEP) planning, implementation, and reporting
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades 6–12 based on IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to foster student progress
• Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
