Step into a dynamic learning environment as a contract 5th Grade Teacher, focusing on both English Language Arts and Social Studies at an intermediate school near Zion, IL. This full-time, onsite position spans the academic year from August 17 to May 27, 2027, and provides the opportunity to enrich the educational journey of young learners at a pivotal stage.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a closely related field required.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements.
  • Previous experience designing, planning, and delivering curriculum.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively partner with students, families, and colleagues.

Role Overview:

  • Teach English Language Arts and Social Studies to 5th grade students, fostering both academic growth and critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and learning objectives.
  • Monitor student progress, assessing comprehension and adapting instruction as needed.
