Soliant is seeking a PEL-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoysworking with students with Autism. This is a full-time contract position forthis school year in Arlington Heights.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Illinois State Board of Education

Compensation:

On-site positions are W2 and hourly. Pay ranges from $45 to $56 per hour,dependent on candidate experience. We also offer health, vision, and dentalinsurance, and an employer matched 401(k) plan.

As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
