This full-time contract role is designed to make a meaningful impact while working across both a preschool and a middle school setting. You’ll serve as a vital resource for students on a leave-of-absence coverage, collaborating with educators and families to enhance student outcomes.

Your primary assignment will involve addressing the needs of students ranging from early childhood through adolescence, using your expertise to guide their communication and developmental progress. This is a unique chance to connect with students and become a pillar of support throughout the contract duration.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active and valid California SLP license
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to serving diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's goals
  • Prepare and maintain thorough documentation according to district guidelines
  • Provide both pull-out and push-in services tailored to students’ needs
  • Engage in meetings, consultations, and multidisciplinary team activities

This assignment begins in mid-October, with an expected duration through mid-December, and requires a commitment to full-time, onsite work across two school sites.
