Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary opportunity is available for two licensed pharmacists to support operations within a pharmacy warehouse. This 13-week contract role requires a commitment Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Qualifications:
- Active and clear Illinois pharmacist license
- Basic knowledge of IV medication handling and preparation
Responsibilities:
- Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of medications, including refrigerated and specialty items
- Manage medication inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste or expired products
- Ensure compliance with USP standards and state/federal regulations in medication storage
- Verify medication orders prior to preparation or shipment
- Supervise pharmacy technicians in inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping tasks
- Coordinate with sterile compounding pharmacists and technicians to maintain supply availability for patient orders
- Review and document controlled substance inventories accurately
- Conduct cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and quality assurance audits
- Collaborate with purchasing, nursing, and operations teams to guarantee timely medication delivery
- Utilize pharmacy software and inventory management systems to monitor supplies
This role is ideal for pharmacists who have a strong attention to detail and are comfortable working in a warehouse environment supporting medication distribution operations.
