Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Illinois SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to fostering student growth within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Participate actively in team meetings and IEP conferences
  • Adapt therapy approaches to suit diverse student needs and learning styles
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
