Step into a dynamic role providing essential support for Pre-K learners as an on-site School Psychologist. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to implement evidence-based behavioral intervention and directly foster school readiness, social-emotional growth, and positive classroom experiences for young students during the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and applicable state licensure
  • Experience working with preschool/pre-kindergarten populations strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with early childhood behavioral interventions
  • Skilled in multidisciplinary collaboration (working with OT, PT, SLP, Autism Support, etc.)
  • Ability to track progress, document services, and communicate with both families and educational teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultative abilities

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide First Step Transition behavioral intervention and consultation as Pre-K students enter school
  • Deliver targeted behavioral coaching, support teacher strategies, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with caregivers to encourage positive transitions and developmental milestones
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary evaluations and assessments with preschool children and their families
  • Support the Special Needs and Abilities Preschool (SNAP) program with a caseload of approximately 70 students
  • Engage in classroom consultation and partner closely with teachers, families, and related service providers (OT, PT, SLP, Autism Consultant, TOR, nurse, etc.)
  • Work a consistent 35-hour week (with occasional extra hours as needed), following the academic calendar from August 14, 2026 to June 4, 2027
