\n We are seeking an experienced Electrical / Field Service Technician to support high-voltage electric and hybrid transit buses throughout Western Washington. This hands-on position involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, completing repairs and maintenance, supporting new bus installations, and working directly with customers and transit property staff.\n

\n Responsibilities\n
\n
    \n
  • Troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain electric and hybrid transit buses
  • \n
  • Diagnose electrical wiring, circuits, components, and vehicle systems
  • \n
  • Provide field support and technical expertise at customer locations
  • \n
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new buses
  • \n
  • Respond professionally to customer questions and communicate concerns to management or internal service representatives
  • \n
  • Complete required service reports, paperwork, and documentation
  • \n
  • Travel regionally throughout Western Washington as needed
  • \n

\n Qualifications\n
\n
    \n
  • At least 2 years of related experience in electrical, HVAC, automotive, mechanical, or field service work
  • \n
  • Experience working with buses, trains, automobiles, military vehicles, heavy equipment, aircraft, or similar equipment
  • \n
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, circuit testing, troubleshooting, and general repair
  • \n
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • \n
  • High-voltage or hybrid training or certification is preferred
  • \n
  • Experience with transit buses, hybrid systems, or electric-drive systems is preferred
  • \n

\n Compensation and Travel\n
\n
    \n
  • Starting pay of $34 per hour and up, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • \n
  • Regional travel throughout Western Washington is required
  • \n
\n
