Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working in a school or with children/adolescents preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills
• Knowledge of child development, crisis intervention, and community outreach resources
• Ability to develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Develop and participate in individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 meetings as necessary
• Serve as a liaison between families, educators, and outside agencies to support student well-being
• Deliver crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and preventive programming within the school community
• Maintain confidential records, progress notes, and required documentation promptly and accurately
• Conduct assessments to identify students in need of additional support and recommend targeted strategies
