Help empower students to reach their highest potential by supporting their communication needs in a dynamic educational environment near Camden Wyoming, DE. As a contract Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY), you’ll provide comprehensive services to students ranging from kindergarten to age 22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.
Your expertise will be vital in nurturing language development, implementing augmentative and assistive technology, and promoting social and expressive communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse student population
- Address areas including articulation, voice, social language, oral-motor function, feeding, receptive/expressive language delays, assistive technology, and augmentative communication
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments, documenting insightful, comprehensive reports
- Work effectively with students ages 2 to 22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities
- Develop, monitor, and update IEP objectives tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to support student development
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware state license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous experience with moderate to severe student populations is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a team-based setting
