Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Imaging professional skilled as both a Radiology Tech and CT Tech. This role involves providing essential diagnostic imaging services in a leading medical facility with a supportive departmental team and close collaboration with organizational clinics and an attached ER.

Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment
  • Four 10-hour shifts: 11:30am – 10:00pm
  • Participation in call rotation with department colleagues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification
  • Valid Kansas licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Radiology and CT procedures
  • Demonstrated proficiency operating imaging equipment in acute care settings
  • Strong ability to communicate with patients and healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic and CT procedures as prescribed by ordering physicians
  • Apply knowledge of radiography to determine appropriate technique, including voltage, current, and exposure time for each study
  • Accurately position patients for optimal imaging results and instruct them throughout the process
  • Prepare and administer contrast media according to established protocols, monitoring patient status and ensuring safety
  • Maintain detailed technique charts and ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements
  • Operate portable imaging equipment in various hospital departments, including ER, ICU, surgical theaters, and recovery areas
  • Provide preventive maintenance checks on equipment and report or address operational issues promptly
  • Communicate with nursing staff to verify patient readiness—including schedules, medications, and any special considerations
  • Assess patient condition prior to procedures, and document medications and all necessary data for clinical and administrative records

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
