Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Illinois SLP license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY applicants welcome
  • Prior experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs and establish goals
  • Write and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Use evidence-based strategies and maintain accurate records of progress
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consultation as needed
