Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Illinois SLP license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY applicants welcome
- Prior experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs and establish goals
- Write and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Use evidence-based strategies and maintain accurate records of progress
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and consultation as needed
