Part-Time School Psychologist
Location: San Mateo, CA
Employment Type: Part-Time / W2
Schedule: Flexible, approximately 0.4 FTE (14 hours/week)
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time School Psychologist to support students in the San Mateo, CA area. This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate is student-centered, organized, and passionate about helping schools create supportive learning environments.
Responsibilities
* Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students
* Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
* Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families
* Assist in developing recommendations and interventions to support student success
* Support students’ social-emotional and behavioral needs as appropriate
* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education requirements
Qualifications
* Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
* Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
* Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations preferred
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with school teams
