What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Washington
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy settings
  • Strong ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Comfort managing a caseload spanning elementary through high school
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Flexibility to travel between assigned schools and adapt to varying school environments
  • Commitment to fostering students’ independence and functional participation in school activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop targeted treatment plans
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Consult with teachers and staff to promote inclusive practices within classrooms
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support students’ growth
  • Travel between 4-5 school sites, coordinating schedules and service delivery efficiently
  • Advocate for the occupational therapy profession within the school community
