Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Accepting candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or SLPs experienced in school or pediatric settings
- Prior experience working with elementary and upper elementary (5th grade) students is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in diverse learning environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to 5th grade students and elementary overflow populations
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-assessments as needed
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress and communicate findings with educational teams and families
- Serve as a valued resource and advocate for students’ language, articulation, fluency, and social communication development
