Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across Washington and Greene Counties as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. Two full-time, on-site contract positions are available to provide crucial support to elementary students and help them achieve success in communication and academic growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Active PA SLP Educator Certificate required
- SLP-CCC credential, with experience in school-based and pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to manage a full caseload
- Willingness to commute across multiple locations regularly
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct therapy and conduct speech-language assessments for students, tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop IEP goals and ensure students receive appropriate services
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development
- Work on-site at designated schools: one role supporting Washington Park Elementary exclusively, and the other traveling between Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary, and a location in Waynesburg
- Attend mandatory training sessions in August to set you up for a successful school year
