Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• Current Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements
• Demonstrated understanding of curriculum design and classroom instruction
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience delivering targeted instruction in English Language Arts and Social Studies is strongly preferred
• Commitment to teaching onsite (remote work is not available)

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons for 5th grade ELA and Social Studies
• Assess student progress regularly and adapt instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and support school-wide initiatives
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student voice and participation
• Communicate consistently with parents, guardians, and support staff regarding student progress
